They are built in the area of the ancient Thronius of Lokros, along the beach, and are formed by two small bays under the green and rocky mount Knimis, which is just 300 meters from the sea. The Thermal Baths
The sources of Kamena Vourla are ranked by specialists in the most important thermal springs in the country, as well as in Europe in general. They were created by the geological changes of the Maliakos Gulf and the mountainous area of Kallidromos-Knimidos and became known due to their rare occurrence in natural minerals, salts and radon.
The thermal springs of Kamena Vourla, which spill at the foot of Mount Knimis, have different temperatures and radioactivity. These are three kinds of sources: there are radioactive sources, a hydrogen sulphonate chlorate and a ferrous source and a cosmetic source, the source of Venus, which contains potassium-rich sulfur. The temperature of the springs varies between 35-36 ° C and their waters are suitable for the treatment of many aesthetic, dermatological and rheumatic diseases.
